Vermeire was established in 2024 to save single-use black plastic containers that were going to landfill.
Manuel Vermeire became soon aware of the unsustainable global food packaging industry, so wanted to make a difference and mount a rescue.
Today, reclaimed food containers are used to make beautifully designed bags and accessories.
The Vermeire modular system enables us to use tiny off-cuts of plastic and piece them together to make a whole new hide.
Our aim is to bring the attention to the global waste issue.
